International Projects
Now that the BWK BildungsWerk in Kreuzberg has consolidated its position as a renowned education provider with innovative concepts and intercultural orientation beyond Berlin, our education and consulting competence is increasingly in demand also in other countries.
As an example, the BWK has developed several concepts revolving around vocational qualification on all education levels, as well as for the multiplier training on behalf of and in cooperation with the TOBB University Ankara and the research institute TEPAV since 2009.
The Turkish employment agency ISKUR is currently undergoing restructuring in order to adapt to European standards. We accompany this adaptation process within the framework of the project "Technical Assistance to Active Employment Measures and Support to Turkish Employment Organization (ISKUR) at Local Level” started in 2009. This restructuring is aimed at optimised counselling activity and better integration of actions into the structure of regional and local employment centres. Besides the BWK, one Turkish and two Italian organisations are involved in this project under the leadership of the Dutch consulting company ECORYS. Employment centres in 22 Turkish model regions are restructured as an example for others; together with the lower and middle representatives, the project coordinators identify education needs and refer consultants who meet these needs.
BWK practice company: international knowledge exchangeThe Leonardo da Vinci partnership project "Innovative Learning Tools in Vocational Education” (INLET-VEDU) has the objective of standardising vocational training in Europe or bringing it to a common level in order to ensure comparability. Under leadership of the vocational training centre "Trabzon Mesleki E itim Merkezi” in the Turkish city of Trabzon, the BWK together with the Catholic University College Kempen (Belgium) has been developing innovative international learning tools since 2009. For this purpose, all project coordinators have established practicecompanies that are operating virtually between each other and exchange opinions about various forms of project management, business planning, correspondence and about linguistic and intercultural competences. Part ofthe project are also regular visits among the practice companies. Another key objective of the project is developing tools which enable trained qualified staff to apply online for jobs on the European labour market. |
